Touring international 103 marineband

The radio is made in 1972 with black radio body and brown front grill and it is in very good condition. The combination from black radio body, brown front grill and his chrome applications and the white station scale make this “Beauty” to a great eye catcher. It’s a very nice radio. SW1 and SW2 were designed as a marine tape. Today there is hardly anything to be received on the frequencies, but it is a very rare TOURING model.

The tuning of all bands is smooth-running; the receipt on all bands is very good especially on FM.

The radio has following bands: LW, AM1, AM2, SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4 and FM up to 108MHz.

This radio has also one pushbutton with AFC (automatic frequency control). A precise fine tuning of the FM stations will be achieved when pressing the AFC button.

The station scale is nice and clean; all inscriptions are present and clear. All knobs, pushbuttons and the light work well.

The telescopic aerial, the front grill and the carrying handle are in very good condition.

Tone control by means of two knobs: one for high tones and one for the basses.

The sound from the 2 high quality loudspeakers is very good with deep basses and clear high tones, very warm and room filling.

You can plug in a tape recorder/cd player, earphones, and a car aerial. A new Euro - US adapter for the power cable and a copy of the operating instructions is attending.

The Radio play’s with 6 batteries in size D or with a power cord with 110 / 220 volt, the battery compartment is clean and works fine.

This radio is many years old and it has very clear use traces. Look at the photos!!

The Touring international from ITT Schaub-Lorenz is a very solid built German radio that will works for the next long time.
